At Round table 305, we strive to empower you to engage in meaningful community service opportunities. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your participation in or donation to a project. This policy outlines our cancellation and refund procedures.

Cancelling Project Participation

  1. Full Refund: You can receive a full refund for any project registration fee if you cancel your participation at least 5 days before the project start date.
  2. Partial Refund: If you cancel within 5 days of the project start date, you may be eligible for a partial refund depending on the specific project circumstances and any incurred costs.
  3. No Refund: Refunds will not be granted for cancellations made after the project has begun, unless there are extenuating circumstances beyond your control (e.g., sudden illness).

Donation Cancellations

  1. Immediate Refund: Donations can be cancelled and refunded in full within 24 hours of placing the donation.
  2. No Refund: After 24 hours, donations cannot be refunded due to transaction processing fees and potential project allocation of funds.

Additional Considerations

  1. Clearly define what constitutes an “extenuating circumstance” justifying a refund after the project starts.

  4. Consider offering alternative options for users who need to cancel, such as transferring their registration to another project or volunteering in a different way.
